A hearty dish of perfectly cooked chickpeas, covered in a spicy tomato marinara sauce - a simple but tasty treat.

"This is what you need to conquer the stage!"

300 g chickpeas

400 ml Bongiovi marinara sauce

6 pieces of sun-dried tomatoes in oil

1 onion

50 ml red wine

500 ml vegetable stock

Salt, ground pepper

fresh herbs

We soak chickpeas in water the day before. Then we drain them,

put them in a pot, cover them with water and cook them until they are soft.

Only add salt to the chickpeas at the end.

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the finely chopped onion in it. Add the

chopped sun-dried tomatoes and fry briefly.

Next, add 1 jar of Bongiovi marinara sauce, salt and pepper. Pour in the wine and vegetable stock. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
Finally, add the cooked chickpeas to the tomato sauce, stir, heat briefly and set aside.
Serve with toasted bread or garlic toast.
You can enrich the tomato sauce with fresh herbs to taste.
